Meeting new Scouts and sharing the experience is central to the Shivaree philosophy.
Adventure & Outdoor
The Shivaree is going to offer a broad range of adventurous outdoor activities.
Culture & Identity
During the Shivaree participants are going to experience Dutch culture and share their own culture with other participants.
Learning & Teaching
Education is at the heart of both Scouting and student life. Therefore, it is going to play a role during the Shivaree.
Sustainable & Green
In keeping with Scouting culture, the SDG’s are going to have their rightfull place at the Shivaree.

In the end, the Shivaree is going to be a uniquely enjoyable experience for every participant.
About the Name
“Jamboree” is believed to originate from the word for rapid and indistinct talk: jabber, and the word for noisy celebration: Shivaree.
